Amtrain Bookings is an independent travel support service that helps travelers research and book Amtrak rail travel by phone. We are not Amtrak, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Railroad Passenger Corporation.

References to Amtrak, Amtrak routes, or Amtrak accommodations are descriptive only. All rail transportation is provided by the operating carrier and is subject to that carrier’s tariffs, fare rules, and conditions of carriage.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, calling our reservation desk, or asking us to make a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our booking assistance.

3. Booking and payment

When you ask us to book travel, you confirm that the passenger names, dates, route, accommodation, and contact details you provide are accurate. You authorize us to submit your reservation to the operating carrier and to collect the amount disclosed to you before confirmation.

Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on this website.

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us or the operating carrier. If a fare changes or a requested room is no longer available before confirmation, we will contact you with the available options.

4. Fares, availability, and errors

Fares and availability change constantly. Prices shown on this website are sample starting fares for budgeting and are not live quotes unless we expressly confirm them for your date and party size.

Despite our efforts, a fare, schedule, room type, or vehicle limit may be displayed or quoted incorrectly. We reserve the right to correct errors before a booking is confirmed. If a correction changes the price materially, you may choose to accept the corrected price or cancel the request without a service charge.

5. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are governed by the fare rules attached to the ticket you purchase, not by this website alone. Some fares are refundable; others are not. Some permit changes for a fee; others do not.

We will explain the applicable rules before you pay. If you ask us to handle a change or cancellation later, we will do so subject to the carrier’s rules and any service fee disclosed at that time.

• Provide accurate passenger names that match the identification used at boarding.
• Arrive at the station with enough time for check-in, baggage, and any vehicle processing.

• Do not use this website or our service for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

7. Prohibited use

You may not scrape, copy, republish, or resell this website’s content without permission; attempt to interfere with its security or availability; use automated means to submit false booking requests; or impersonate another person or entity.
